Bundles

Bundles let you group products that are typically sold together. This article shows you how to use bundles in Fabric PIM.

Bundles

Bundles are two or more products sold together. In PIM, there are two types of bundles: pure bundles and mixed bundles.

  • Pure bundles are groups of products exclusively sold together; individual items can not be purchased separately.
  • Mixed bundles are groups of items that are sold together and separately. For example, the menu of a quick-serve restaurant is based on mixed bundles. You can buy value meals or purchase items in value meals separately.

The definition of bundles is defined at the attribute level for individual items. If you don't want items in bundles sold separately, mark the item attribute as non-sellable. If you do want items in bundles sold separately, mark the item attribute as sellable.

Note: You can create a collection (or bundle) of items based on a specific group ID. Also, you can make the price of that bundle the sum of iits items or custom.

  • Select Catalog from the left panel of PIM.
  • Go to Bundles.
  • Click +New Bundle.
